Dosage 

Nexipox vaccine is administered in two shots to individuals of age 12 months and older in order to ensure immunization against Chickenpox. It comprises Varicella Vaccine (live) attenuated (2000 PFU). This vaccine is given to the person under the skin or into the muscle of the upper arm in the strength of 0.5mL. It is highly advised to not try its administration on your own. The Nexipox vaccine is given under the strict supervision of a medical professional. 

• Children 

  • Two doses are administered with a gap of 3 months at least. 

• Adolescents 

  • Two doses are administered with a gap of 4 weeks at least. 

• Adults 

  • Two doses are administered with a gap of 4 weeks at least.

• This vaccine does not ensure immunization against any other virus except the varicella-zoster virus. 

• It is given by a medical practitioner or a nurse.
