Here at Fotowerke, magnificent imageries are lovingly made by our wedding photographers.  On the technical side - light source, lens choice, aperture, shutter and ISO settings will get you half way there.  On the human side - the ability to make a bride drop her guard and be relaxed enough for you to photograph her from the most flattering angle...now that's a secret we can't divulge.  So there, it's not as simple as being at the right place at the right time.

Should you trust your big day to part time/freelance wedding photographers because they have better rates?  The answer is NO.  Generally, what you pay is what you get.  On the flip side of the coin, if you pay peanuts, expect to get monkeys.  I'm sure you get what I'm driving at. 

Every professional wedding photographer worth his or her salt, should have a plethora of experience photographing weddings, and it is this level of experience that you are paying for.  Here at Fotowerke, we do not believe in over-pricing ourselves. Fotowerke's core photographers have more than 10 years of experience behind them in the specialized field of wedding photography.  Please do not ask us what camera equipment we use.  As I have said in the earlier paragraph, equipment will only get you halfway there.  If you are a tech junkie and expect us to be shooting with the latest and greatest digital camera to date, then I think you are missing the point about our style of wedding photography.

At Fotowerke, our wedding photographers talents go beyond the digital domain.  Analogue or film photography is one of them.  Film photography has come full circle as an artistic expression of individualism.  We have been commisioned by a growing number of clients to document their wedding on film, especially on monochromatic film.  Otherwise known as black and white.  Have a look at the monochromatic images in our gallery and see if it stirs something in you.
