Stripchat Wins 'Cam Site of the Year' at 2020 XBIZ Europa Awards

LOS ANGELES — Stripchat is celebrating a 2020 XBIZ Europa Awards win as Cam Site of the Year, "capping off a challenging year for the industry and highly successful year for the company," a rep said.

“We’re incredibly proud to have taken home this top honor,” VP of New Media Max Bennet said. “Our entire team works tirelessly to make us the most innovative and loved platform in the industry, and [the] XBIZ Europa Award shows that they’ve succeeded. In the past year, we’ve added so many features for both models and users, and challenged what people think of camming. It’s wonderful to see that recognized by our peers."

Stripchat earned Cam Company of the Year honors at the XBIZ Europa Awards in 2019, and was named “Most Loved Cam Site” by model resource ReadySetCam earlier this year.

“As thrilled as we are by this award, we’re just getting started,” said Bennet. “Stripchat has always been a new kind of cam company, and we will continue to innovate for our models, our fans, and our partners — this year, and in the years to come.”

A rep described Stripchat as "a technological innovator in the camming space" since its 2016 launch "with advances in mobile camming, AI and VR."

"A pioneering partnership with therapists at Sexual Health Alliance led to the launch of Stripchat’s widely lauded Sexuality Resource Center earlier this year," noted the rep. "Stripchat’s work with models during the COVID epidemic, and its partnership with small businesses affected by the shutdown, have made it one of the most newsworthy live cam platforms of 2020."

The 2020 XBIZ Europa Awards were presented virtually Thursday night as the capstone event to the first-ever virtual edition of the XBIZ Berlin trade show. Click here for a full list of winners.
