Steps To Setup AT&T Mail on Windows Mail App
Step 1: Go to “Windows Live Mail App” and click on “add email account”
Step 2: Enter the details being asked on the screen like att net email address, password, etc
Step 3: Once done, A new window will open up, choose the “manually configure settings for this email account” option and click on the “Next” button.
Step 4: On the next screen, you need to enter the details as mentioned below.
Account Type- Select either IMAP or POP3
Incoming Server- imap.mail.att.net (for IMAP) OR inbound.att.nett (POP)
Step 5: Tick on “This server requires a secure connection” (SSL)
Step 6: Follow the same procedure for Outgoing server and enter the below value.
Outgoing server- smtp.mail.att.net (IMAP) or outbound.att.net (POP)
Step 7: Tick on the check box in front of “this server requires a secure connection (SSL)” and “my outgoing server requires authentication”
Step 8: Now, click on the “Next” button
