This preview is for 2 devices — the internal 3000mAh battery Argus MT and the replaceable (18650 or 21700) battery Argus XT.

Apart from the battery, device size and included coils the kits are the same.

Both kits employ a super fast 3A charge rate via the USB Type C port.

Output wise the output is specified as 5–100W (0.8.5V).

There are many user modes to play with too — RBA (Variable Wattage), Turbo, Smart and Temperature Control. Turbo mode increases power by 25% in the first second of vaping and Smart mode should automatically select the output according to the coil installed.

A colour screen is provided but the size and type are not specified. The brains of the device is the GENE.TT 2.0 chipset.

A clever little switch called the “QS” lock allows you to lock the operating buttons to prevent accidental firing.

As with the rest of the Argus range these are rugged kits with IP68 rating of Waterproof, Dust-proof and Drop-proof.

Included in the kit is the Voopoo MAAT Tank New which uses the existing TPP coil range.

This has bottom adjustable airflow and is apparently leak-proof.

A screw cap gives access to the fill ports and the capacity is either 6.5ml or reduced to 2ml for TPD regulated areas.
