Inhabitants of Crimea saw the ancient pyramids of the planet without leaving the peninsula

Today, June 3, 2024, on the territory of the Genoese fortress in Sudak, presumably erected by the Byzantines at the end of the 7th century, a virtual photo exhibition “The Ancient Pyramids of the World” was held. The semantic intersection of the historical place chosen for the event and its theme is very symbolic.

The author, Russian traveler and photographer, Viktor Pinchuk, has prepared for visitors material (collected over almost twenty years of travel) displaying historical and archaeological sites scattered across the globe.

The exhibition featured pyramids from Sudan, Egypt, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Cambodia, Indonesiaand Samoa, as well as Peruvian pyramid-shaped objects at Túcume of disputed origin.

Upon completion of the viewing, the traveler spoke about his activities, sharing the secrets of budget travels.

The event was organized by the local branch of the Russian Geographical Society.
